Basic Knot Tying Workshop

This is a basic introduction to knot tying, not specific to any sport.

We will be going through terminology and some of the foundational knots in a seminar style workshop.  

Knots that will be looked at:

• No-knot
• Two Round Twists
• Clove Hitch
• Bowline
• Figure Eight
• Directional Figure Eight
• Rolling Hitch
• European Death Knot

This will equip you to attach ropes to things securely, tighten the ropes beyond just pulling on them, and set up a system which captures your progress as you tighten.

All ropes will be provided. Meeting in the library, unless there's too many.
