The Mitta Mitta catchment is a gorgeous area in the High Country, with some stellar class II-IV rivers. It'd be great to get a crew from the club up there in September.
The Friends of the Mitta volunteer/fundraising weekend will be on Grand Final weekend. It's a great chance to get up to the High Country, go for a paddle, help out with some projects like track building/maintenance, clearing of invasive English Broom, last year some new fire pits were built at a couple of campsites.
On Saturday night there's a big party at Carrie & Jeffe's place, usually with lots of Mexican food.
