Victoria Open Lead Championships

Open A athletes: 23+ for Male, 21+ for Female

Open B social: up to 23 for Male and 21 for Female

Do you want to lead climb but have never done your Blackburn certification? 

Want to take big whips but Isaac says you “actually need to know what you are doing?” to come on a trip? 

Have you been trying to gramp it out with Connor but been turned away for dumb reasons such as “have you ever even seen a rope before?”

Well look no further than the Victorian state championships!!!

Taking place at cliffhanger climbing gym, if you know how to not backclip twice in a row, this competition gives you an excellent chance to see how you stack up compared to the rest of Victoria.

P.S. You will need an active Climbing Australia Membership to compete

P.P.S. PLEASE actually know how to lead climb. I competed last year having done lead climbing once before, and although technically  allowed, I did get a talking to for some egregious clipping techniques.
