Hardrock Lead Competition

Requirements: Some sport lead climbing experience

Hi all,

Hardrock is organizing a climbing competition on the 15th of September. Setter, climbing enthusiast and MUMC member Romain Thevenot ( aka crazy french man) is helping running this competition. You can find all the information there : http://hardrock.com.au/cms/details.asp?NewsID=95

The competition is open to all ages and climbing abilities, only requirements is to have some experience in lead climbing.

Registration is $30 and close on the 12th of September.

It'd be nice to see some of our climber representing the club, better start tranning !

They are currently looking for volunteers to help on the day of the comp. They mainly need belayers and judges. It is  a great occasion to get used to the competition world and learn new skills. Specific training sessions will be organized for all volunteers. Free food and climbing pass will be offered to all volunteers.
