Yarra River - Beginner Paddling

Requirements: Read participant guideline.

This is a beginner paddling trip on the Yarra river up near Warrandyte. The section takes about two hours to run depending on water levels and how keen you are to learn and practice some skills. There's plenty of flat to work out some basic paddle strokes, and a few nice grade 2 rapids for a little excitement :) .

Aim to meet at uni in the Boat sheds at around 3pm to get gear and size you up for a boat. We need to be hitting the road shortly after in order to get off the river before sunset.
