Kayaking/rafting the Mitchell River

Requirements: MUST be able to swim

This is the annual mitchell river trip, run with the latrobe and monash universitys outdoors clubs.

The Mitchell river is classed as grade 3, so that means intermdiate paddlers only, however if there's enough interest, we'll hire a raft and you can jump on board that (as long as you can swim :) )

The Mitchell River is in Gippsland so takes about 4 hours to get out there. We'll be leaving friday - late afernoon / early evening, or Mitch will be leaving early (4am) morning saturday.

It's a two day trip, which means camping out at the Echo Band Caravan park saturday night - so car camping, a big fire, and some shenanigans or two :).

If you're keen, sign up and just leave a comment as to whether you'd be wanting to raft/kayak.

* Also, if you have a car that can maybe take kayaks - much appreciated :)
