Beginner Kayaking trip at the Yarra

Requirements: Must be able to swim!

A group of us will be heading to the Warrandyte section of the Yarra at 5pm from the boat sheds (near the oval and the gym in Melbourne Uni.) We'll hopefully be on the water at 630pm, and returning 10ish that night.

This section of the yarra provides some beginner (class 2) rapids, perfect for going over the basics. You'll begin, by doing a "wet exit", and then continue down the river, having some fun and picking up a few skills:) .

I have a small list of absolute beginners who'd like to get out in a kayak, so there will be plenty of beginner trips at the Yarra, Port Melbourne and pool over the next couple of months, particularly the next couple of weeks.
