Snowy Mountains Caving Trip - Cancelled

Requirements: Previous caving experience is preferred. If you're interested and have none speak to me at a club meeting.

Trip Cancelled insufficient interest.

Melbourne Cup - long weekend trip to the Snowy Mountains caving at Yarrangobilly and Cooleman (permits pending).

Signups will close mid October to allow for permit applications to be finalised. It is only a long weekend if you have the Monday off.

Yarrangobilly has large well decorated caves often with large open sections connected by more sporty obstacles.

The caves at nearby Cooleman are smaller however the walk to the caves down the gorge is prettier.

Standard:

Previous caving experience is preferred but not required if you're interested and haven't been caving before or haven't done much please talk to me or come on the Buchan trip in early October.

Abseil experience preferred (not requried).

Accomodation: Camping only facilities are Pit Toilets (BYO paper)

Gear Hire: $50 or $30 if not using club batteries - i.e have own (suitable) light

Car/Petrol estimate $80-$100
