Seeking Volunteers for Clubs Day - Semester 2 (Wed 17th July)

Hey OXOs,

We’re seeking volunteers for our Semester 2 UniMelb Clubs Day Stall, on Wednesday 17th July from 9am-4:30pm at Concrete Lawn, University of Melbourne. 

You don’t have to be available all day to volunteer - just let us know when you’re free in the Google form. You also don’t have to be a UniMelb student to volunteer! Just an MUMC member. Extra points if you have a car to transport gear.

This is a great chance for you to give back to the Club (which is run by volunteers like you) and share your experiences with prospective members, and (for the lucky ones) run a slackline/hangboard challenge.

We’re also still looking for ways to thank people for volunteering, so if you have ideas for how you want to be thanked, please mention that in the form too!

Schedule for the day:

9am: Meet at the clubrooms to collect gear

10am: Leave the clubrooms to walk/drive the gear to Concrete Lawn at UniMelb

10:15-10:45am: Set up our stall 

10:45am-3pm: Man the stall. Chat to prospective members. Try and sign people up as members. We also need people to run the activities next to the stall, including the slackline and hangboard challenge.

 3-4:30pm: Pack down the stall, transport the gear back to MUMC, and pack up.
