Swotvac Big River Rafting trip

Lets go kayaking or rafting!

I've had a bit of a look around the Big River, just south of lake Eildon last weekend and think it looks like a pretty sweet kayaking and rafting day trip.

So, if you are interested in some nice grade 2 rapids just a bit harder than the Yarra this is the opportunity. 

The Big River is a small wilderness river in the middle of eastern Victoria, it's a short-ish drive (2.5hrs) from Melbourne and makes for a perfect day trip.

We've yet to decide what day this will happen, but the plan is to leave really early in the morning so that we can get to the river by 10am which will leave enough time to get the slower raft down to the take-out.

I'll be kayaking so the rafting component will be dependent on another guide participating.
