Victorian Backcountry Festival

A day of clinics on September the 1st covering all things back-country as well as some telemark lessons up at Fall's Creek, followed by films and talks in the evening.

This isn't a club event, but I'm putting this event up so hopefully a few of us who are from the club and interested in going can carpool and go together. It's a great opportunity for us to connect with the larger outdoor community.

On Sunday the 2nd it sounds like there might be a ski mountaineering race being planned, so there might be scope to enter the competition or help volunteer for that. Or alternatively we could do a day trip to somewhere near fall's creek before we drive back that night.
