August Metrogaine and Cyclogaine

Metrogaine and Cyclogaine - Sunday 19th August 2018

6hr Foot Metrogaine 10:00 am start 4:00 pm finish

5hr Cyclogaine  10:30 am start 3:30 pm finish

LOCATION

Knox and Ferntree Gully area in the East of Melbourne.  For those who did the Wantirna Waddle Metrogaine and Cyclogaine in 2018 there will be a small section of the map that overlaps if you were able to reach the South East corner of that map.    This map will reach the lower sections of the Dandenongs which may squeeze the faster cycling teams to do some climbing.   The rest of this area is flat. 

Course

The course uses question and multiple choice answer checkpoints.   The questions are intended to confirm your visit to the checkpoint and not test your IQ.  Our setter is looking for checkpoints are at points of interest.   The final course may be suitable for Road bikes.  More information once the course is set early in the new year

Map

Based on the Melway and reproduced (with their permission) at 1:20,000 standard book scale.   Any errors found on the Map you can report to Melway.  All the street names are included but there are contour lines are not shown. 

Accommodation

This is a Metro event.   We do not provide camping at the Hash House for metro events.

Online Entry will open by 29-Jul-2018.   Late date is Wednesday 8-August-2018 at 11:59pm. 

Event Entry Fees are:   
Adults $32, 
Junior $21  (under 18)   Juniors get free entry when in a team with an adult.
Entered before 11:59pm  8 August 2018,   Late fees apply if entering after this date.
