It's been snowing. Quite a bit in fact. So let's go skiing!
Safety
Mt Bogong is a steep and exposed mountain with little flat terrain and thus isn't very beginner friendly, making this trip for only suitable for more advanced skiers.
Plan
Drive up to the base of Eskdale Spur on Friday night and walking up to Michel hut the same night.
On Saturday, spend the day on the slopes of cairn creek, returning to the hut for the evening.
On Sunday, go for a morning ski, then return to the car and drive home.
Gear
Full winter setup including winter tents.
