Skiing Mt Stirling

Update: We have postponed the trip to the 21st of July, due to the sad lack of snow :'( 

This is one of the classic beginner snow trips.  We'll drive out on Friday night, ski up Mt Stirling on Saturday, camp in the snow, and play around on downhill runs near the summit on Sunday morning.

All this relies on there being snow, so the trip might have to be postponed.

This is a beginner snow trip, but camping on the snow is a fairly badass thing to do.  Expect to suffer if you aren't used to staying warm and dry in adverse weather.  You will need warm clothing, but you can hire everything else from the club.

Skiing is expensive.  You can expect to spend $100 on petrol money, resort entry, chain hire, and so on.
