So nothing is set in stone yet, and the dates are not confirmed, but I would like to run a two week climbing trip to the Blue Mountains and the Warrumbungles, either in early September or in October.
The first week or so we would drive up to the Blueys and spend time climbing there. I would like to focus on increasing climbing efficiency, in order to aid in tackling the long routes at the Warrumbungles, which can be up to around 400 m in length.
The next couple of days would be spent getting to the Warrumbungles, stocking up on food, planning the climbs and resting. That would leave 4 or 5 days of climbing in the Warrumbungles and the chance to tackle some of the long routes in the area.
I plan to go camping while at the Blueys, and either camp or stay at the hut at the Warrumbungles.
There are some details about the Warrumbungles that can be found at www.climb.org.au
If you are interested, please give me a call on 0401 399 105.
Cheers,
Sean
