Come ignore exams and go up Mt Bogong instead! This fun figure 8 loop will see us through Victoria's tallest mountain twice. Hopefully this happens before the snowfall, otherwise we may also be taking snowshoes!
UPDATE:
Due to rough weather conditions this trip has moved to the grampians. The NEW updated itinerary is as follows:
Tuesday 7:15am: meet at Clubrooms and drive to Sheep Hills Campground in the Grampians. Hike to Wannon campground (aprox 13km)
Wednesday: Wannon campground to Jimmy Creek campground (aprox 13km)
Thursday: Jimmy creek to Sheep hills campground (approx 16km) Return to clubrooms in the evening
Total distance 41km, elevation1749m

Leaving this below in case someone needs inspo for a future trip!
The rough itinerary is as follows:
Early Tuesday morning: drive to Mountain creek Roadhead and hike 18.5km, and camping near Big River
Wednesday: 15km to Bogong Creek Saddle to camp
Thursday: Bogong Creek Saddle back to Mountain Creek (18km) then drive back to Melbourne Thursday night.
Distance: 53.8km
Total elevation: 3326
Mountain conditions are going to be quite cold as it is the start of winter so participants must be able to obtain warm sleeping gear (available from the club for hire). Walking distance each day is also fairly far so keep that in mind. If it looks like snow, we may be taking some snow shoes! Because conditions might potentially be challenging at times, participants should have done at least 2 multi-day walks before
