Backcountry Info Night

After a dry start to winter it looks like we're getting more snow soon and so ski touring trips will be on the cards in the near future.

This will be a pretty informal night with three main parts:

• quick snow safety presentation aimed at making you aware of the risks involved in ski touring
• discussion of potential trips running this season
• practise using ski touring setups (putting skins on and off, changing bindings from ski to walk mode, etc...)

The club has invested in some fantastic new ski touring setups so that we can start running more trips and this is a great way to get involved without committing to a full weekend trip.
