Ski-Mountaineering Info Night

This is an information evening for any club members who are interested in or even just curious about mountaineering and alpinism. If you have ever wondered how to get started, what skills are involved, where to do it, when to do it, the gear, etc., this is the night for you!

We will be joined by Luke Frisken, who recently qualified as a NZMGA Ski Mountaineering Guide, and will answer any questions you've got!

This is a great opportunity for people to meet, and begin to plan trips. For those interested in doing a mountaineering course in New Zealand next summer, you have the chance to plan out your next 6-8 months of training for adventure with others who may wish to go with you.

The presentation will be upstairs at the clubrooms following the usual club meeting.
