Buffalo Canyoning

Canyoning at Mt Buffalo

Not for the faint hearted, expected a long day filled with long approach/exit of bushbashing and some high flow canyons. Expect to be active from about 6am-10pm ish (ie., 16 hours of exercise). If this sort of sufferfest sounds like your cup of tea then you'd probably make for a good canyoner!

For location, as it's still pretty early in the season, we'll either head to Eurobin Ck / Legere or Running Jump Creek.

Camping at Lake Catani, meaning post canyon hot shower beers could definitely be on the cards.

I'll be driving up on Friday night and returning on Sunday night (most likely filled with a day of trad climbing if feeling energetic or swimming holes if feeling lazy on Sunday). We will figure out logistics based on cars / if people are already at Mt Buffalo for climbing / hiking. 

The trip will be reliant on the water levels coming down to 1.3-1.6m (fingers crossed).
