We welcome you to attend a social film screening evening in the MUMC club rooms.
The likely film of the evening will be the iconic Australian film 'The Castle', the inspiration for one of our upcoming bikepacking training trips planned for early December to Bonnie Doon.
Price of admission will be a nominal donation, suggested $30, and will include nachos/pizza/popcorn and a cocktail or mocktail of your choice. A selection of alternative drinks will also be made available.
This will be a great social event, not to be missed!!
The Cause:
All proceeds go to fund-raising efforts, as end of the year a small group of OXO's and passionate adventurer friends will be cycling through the Andean Bear Corridor. 1,400km distance and 35 km in elevation (that’s hiking up Everest 8 times) in a month. The aim of the cycle is to fund-raise and donate bicycles, lending freedom and opportunity to children living in rural Colombian towns, who otherwise experience daily challenges to attend school. This fund-raising is through the initiative ‘1k Bikes & 1k Dreams’ and you can read more about the initiative in the link:

Sign-ups are open so we can ensure there's enough food & drink to go round.
