Volunteer at Sport Climbing Victoria Youth Lead State Titles
Come help and support young climbers by volunteering for the Youth Lead State Titles.
They're looking for Judges, Belayers and Registration desk and Isolation steward volunteers. Volunteering is a great way to learn about the competition format, see the level of competition and skill within the youth, as well as get the best seats for the show.
Location and date:
Urban Climb Blackburn, Saturday 22nd of March from 7am.
Signup:
Judges will receive training ahead of the event.
Note:
To volunteer you'll need to get your Working with Children's check (https://service.vic.gov.au/services/working-with-children) and Child Safety Certificate (Safeguarding Children in Sport. https://elearning.sportintegrity.gov.au/login/index.php).
Do not be discouraged, they are very easy to get and are both free. The Safeguarding Children in Sport certificate takes less than 45 minutes and the Children's check takes 15 minutes to apply for. You can still signup before getting them as long as you email the certificate and children's check to once you do.
