Spargo Scramble 2x6hr Rogaine

Welcome welcome to the first bush rogaine of the year! This rogaine is a perfect opportunity for people looking to do their first ever event, looking to make friends, or to get into the countryside. Set in Spargo Creek just south of Daylesford this event is 2 x 6 hour events on Saturday or Sunday. People can enter Saturday, Sunday or both!

If you have team members in mind or are looking for people to team up with, come along to the meeting where we will be organising teams. All people are welcome to join, whether it is your first time or your 100th!

Please also consider volunteering. Especially as this event is run over two days, you can race on one day and volunteer on the next! It helps out the VRA who are volunteers just like us and you get free entry into a future rogaine of your choice.

Note: trip meeting is 2 Tuesdays before the event. This is so we can get teams registered before the cut off date. If you want to attend the trip, but cannot make the meeting, email me or chuck a message in the comments

What is Rogaining?

Rogaining is the sport of distance cross-country navigation in which teams of two to five members visit as many checkpoints as possible in the specified time (usually 6 or 12 hours). Its kind of a mix between trail running/hiking and orienteering. At our meeting we will explain the rules in more detail, and if you want to read more, see here: https://rogainevic.org.au/about/
