BSAR General Training

Annual Bush Walking Search and Rescue training weekend. This is a training event for members of BSAR or people who want to become involved in BSAR activities.

This year the weekend is being held at Marysville and Lake Mountain over winter. Training will involve snow skills, snow searching and snow camping but it is not required that you can ski, snowshoes will be available. More information will follow as it becomes available.

I will attempt to run an information session either before or after a Tuesday meeting prior to this to give prospective members an idea of what BSAR is about.

To join BSAR you must be a reasonably experienced bushwalker, for more information have a browse of the website http://bsar.org/ or come talk to me or some of the other BSAR members at the club rooms.
