BSAR Training Weekend

Requirements: Current or prospective BSAR member

Training weekend for Bushwalking Search and Rescue (BSAR). Will involve a bus ride early Saturday morning followed by a mock search for the rest of the day and then a ~3hour GPS rogaine and skills sessions on the Sunday.

Current BSAR members are encouraged to attend to make sure you're familiar with the structure of a search and keep up the relevant skills to make things run smoother if you are called out. 

The weekend is also open to prospective members of BSAR. You need moderate bushwalking experience with some extended (4+ day) trips.
